“Spring Healing” Tea Giveaway!
Unfortunately, there will be no cute dishware in this giveaway because both the Japanese dollar store & the Japanese grocery store by my house went out of business, but there will be lots of sweet-smelling, body-cleansing herbal & specialty teas.
One first-place winner will receive:
Yoga Tea: a spiced herbal tea with hawthorn petals, cloves, black pepper, cardamon, & cinnamon. This tea is rich with antioxidants, anti-inflammatories, fiber, and vitamins. Cinnamon is known to lower blood sugar & cholesterol. Cloves are known to relieve digestive problems and arthritis pain. Hawthorn is known to promote circulatory and cardiovascular health. This tea is best after light yoga or exercise and it is naturally sweet & spicy. Aromatically, it is intoxicating. :} (available at Tea Time)
Peach Oolong with Flowers: Oolong teas are semi-fermented, giving them the strength and richness of a fully fermented black tea with the clearness and fragrance of a non-fermented green tea. They are known to have many health benefits, such as boosting metabolism, decreasing stress, improving skin health, and prolonging vitality and lifespan. This oolong is sweetened with delicate peach blossoms.
Lavender & Clover: I had some lavender and red clover lying around the house, and I think they pair quite nicely. :) Lavender promotes menstrual health and relieves nausea, headaches, and cramping. Red clover promotes breast health, reduces the pain of pms and menopause, and is filled with lots of lovely vitamins. I like to throw a bit of red clover into anything i’m drinking or eating because it has a subtly sweet, neutral flavor. Together, these flowers taste & smell divine!!~*
White tea with pomegranate flowers: This tea has a light, natural sweetness and tastes fantastic over ice with some fresh fruit and a dash of simple syrup. Pomegranate blossoms improve heart health, white tea is full of antioxidants, and this drink is all together soul soothing.
Honeysuckle Herbal: Part of a “skin health” tea kit i got from the asian market. It’s very sweet, so it doesn’t taste like it’s good for you, but I’ve found that it helps clear your complexion.
Amaranth Flowering Tea: Blossoms into a large flower and can be steeped 3 times. Subtle flavor, but aesthetically very pleasing. <3 Like any tea, blossoming teas boost vitality, decrease stress, and have plenty of antioxidants.
Pu’erh: It doesn’t look like much, but pu’erh is known to have the most antioxidants and medicinal benefits of any tea.
Five second-place winners will receive:
Chamomile tea, Lavender tea, Red clover tea, & Honeysuckle tea. As well as the usual splattering of glitter, feathers, flowers, and handwritten note on Japanese stationary with cute stickers from yours truly. ~*<3
